Developing next generation talents in the AI era at Talyor’s University
Supported by Professor Dr David Asirvatham and his team at Taylor’s University, LedgerBrains AI Consortium embarked on a partnership with Taylor’s University aimed at equipping young talents with the necessary skills and mindset to excel in the rapidly evolving domain of AI engineering.
The partnership was kicked off with a career talk, where Consortium co-cofounder Dr KH Shum delved into the essential skills, technical expertise, and versatile capabilities required to excel and thrive in the rapidly evolving domain of AI Engineering.
“AI and Gen AI in particular is evolving in an accelerating pace, and it’s expected to transform every industry. While certain IT design and support roles are expected to become obsolete, AI engineering, development and operations roles are rapidly emerging.” Dr KH Shum
In a second session, Consortium co-founder Ir Ivan Lam led a conversation with Consortium member Mr Jovian Ling, Co-founder of Set Sail Venture, who shared his startup journey and how he combined his engineering skills with a deep philosophical foundation to develop AI solutions that are not only effective, but also being empathetic and customer-centric in driving tangible business benefits.
“Successful tech entrepreneurs focus on solving problems with customer-centric solutions rather than taking feature-rich products to market.” Mr Jovian Ling
